Well no, its not. Veilside is made of polyeurethane I believe, and fitment is good. Vis and everyone else uses fiberglass, very much cheaper. They also are making a copy of a copy and then another company is making a copy of a copy of a copy so the quality does decrease.

If your looking for a replica go with a company which makes the first copy, and not the 3rd.

i dont think that veilside is poly. remember that guy on the boards who got a veilside by mistake when he ordered a vis? it had veilside like embossed inside the bumper made or fiberglass. it was allllong time ago.

yep veilside is fg, you only really get TRD and kaminari that use urethane generally as the production process as a lot harder.

that said the GRP used nowadays is a lot more flexible than the old style fg used to be, and a lot of the poor copies are fg.

the usual problems with fitment are were makers remove the piece from the mould to early and a bumper for instance can spread as it cures, so you end up having to nearly snap it to get it to fit into shape properly.

according to veilside website they use sheet fiberglass that is then molded into right shape i guess using forms... they do mention something about computer generated measurements for perfect fit.... fits good and requires minor mods. Price-$$$$

according to vis they use 7 layers of fiber material which is made stronger with each level. However it is not as durable and requires hours of fitting. Most people go with this option because normally you get entire kit for under 400 bucks

Knock offs are good to get if you plan on molding in the kit.
