There is a in/out temp sensor for VWs, it is awesome IMO
http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=1548530 <--selling
and
http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=1042190&page=1 <--installed in Jetta

I was thinking of getting it for the Jetta, then I thought, why not the Celica smile.gif ?
I searched for comparable units and found cheap ones that look like crap. This might be a cool option to have.

Wiring would be easy/universial for any car. Just where to put it on the dash is the big question...

any suggestions/comments ?

An Internal/external temp sensor is cool, but not need for the celica. I admite it is cool looking, but since my celica is limited on space I think I will pass. I you are thinking about mounting it I would say that the cigarette lighter and ash tray space might be your best bet to place that.

the spot next to the lighter I think is my best option right now. I'm not sure. I might just take out the lighter and put it there. I am probably gonna get one for the Jetta and see where it would look best in the Celica.

anyone other ideas ?

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

newer Mk4s (02+ I think) have a in/out temp guage built into the guage cluster stock. My Jetta is a 99.
