I have a bit of a problem. Theres a leak somewhere in my cooling system and seeing as i live on base, and lack the tools, facilities, and knowledge to fix it myself I am forced to have someone else fix my car. The toyota dealership cant see me until over a month from now. A time during which i will be in the middle of the ocean. So the question... where can i go to get my car fixed where i wont "get screwed" I initially had my car looked at by WALLY HO'S GARAGE AND DINER but he wanted to charge me 1900 dollars to replace my radiator, water pump, and hoses. 700 dollars worth of parts...thats alot of labor.

PLEASE HELP confused.gif

Bro, don't get ripped off. Find the leak yourself. Hopefully its a 30.00 hose. Even replacing a radiator can be done very easily. i dont know why wally would want to replace all the components. this is a easy fix. Pay somebody on base to do it.

Since you live in Pearl Harbor your best bet is Kuroda Radiator. Kuroda Radiator is right across from Anna Millers at Pearlridge. They probably do the best work in the state when it comes to radiator and body work. Also, you could try calling munkywurks. I think they'll take a look at it for you. I'm not sure if he'll fix it cause he's always busy though. Kuroda Radiator will be your best bet though. My hachi had an overheating problem and I took it there and they only charged $500. Havent had any problems since.

An over heating problem could be fixed easier then that. well cheaper. Seems kinda expensive, but then again i do everything my self so everything is way to expensive.
