Hello. I'm a new 6th gen Celica owner, and I noticed that the ring light around the ignition switch doesn't work. I couldn't find if there was a bulb or fuse for it in the manual. Could anyone give suggestions on how to fix this?
Thanks in advance for any advice. |

I have a 96 st 25 year edition, and i don't have a light there either, i took the whole thing apart and couldn't find anything that would make it light up. is this an option on certain models?

I'm bumping this post because I need advice for this same problem.
Facts: My dome light works when switched on manually. (therefore bulb is good). My dome light does not come on when switched on "door" when the door is opened. My ignition ring light does not come on when the door is opened. My other door open indicators are okay, like the door ajar signal and the red lights on the door (therefore the door switch is okay). I checked a few fuses, with no luck. Any advice appreciated! Love Pinky |

A non-celica friend suggested something to do with the timer, as each of the non-functioning lights are supposed to stay on for a short while after the door is closed. Any thoughts there? Hey don't let the pic (avatar) scare ya'! That's the album cover of one of my favorite bands! Love Pinky |
