Ok im making a new custom rear box. I have two 12" rockfords and one amp. Im thinking of just making something completley custom and go for looks and sound rather then use of the trunk. I have already made an amp rack and sub enclosur that i will sell or get ride of.

I need some opnions, First all my plastic panles in the rear are eaither broken or just scratched up. So I was thinking if i didnt use then i would have to make a lot of extra fiberglass going around the trunk, or just use then and cover half of them. What are som opions on this.

Il try and have my layout design posted in a lil.

Hey man, always interested to see what other people do for a boot install, hate the shape of the celica boot!! I am just finishing putting the cloth on my own new install so should be postin pics soon. I've gone for two side units to house the amps/capacitor/cd changer/fans etc, and a single sub box that sits between the two up against the seats, and finally a small false floor to tie the remaining space in with the scheme. You could always go for two similar side units (possibly at an angle either vertically or horizontally, and mount the two subs in between. I went for square shapes cos I wanted to stick with mdf, but if you've got the skilz then y not do something morec creative if you're goin for looks. Keep us posted!!

hey doug,

Well thats pretty much what i have now. It just needs to be wraped in carpet to look a lot better. I just built a fake cover with the sub built it.

Also the way neverstop made it, it will not sound that good. You need the subs reflecting off the rear hatch to sound the best.
