the limited editions get special badging. The st limited edition models get the power goodies of the gt, and the gt rims.
The body kits that will fit the convertable are the celica coup body kits. |

thats untrue.
there were no performance or wheel upgrades for any special edition Celica... with that said... the ST Limited edition refers to any 1997 ST because that was the final year of the ST, so toyota just labeled them Limited Edition... the 96 Model year is the 20th Anniversary year, so those also had special badging. the front and sides will fit from any bodykit, the rear is different, you either need one specifically made for the coupe, or buy one for the hatch and have it extended. -------------------- Believer, you'll leave her, in leaving them all No but I don't buy it Like anything you do, as anyone you are Cause I'm... QUOTE(boosted_K2 @ Feb 16, 2005 - 5:39 PM) there were no performance or wheel upgrades for any special edition Celica... I'm pretty sure by "power goodies" he mean power windows/locks and not actual power. |

Well, the front of any bodykit fits. The sides of the coupe bodykit have to be extended about 3/4" on the convertible. The rear, some of the vader rears have 2 different models, but most kits take the old extend to make fit.

nope, discontinued LOOONG ago.
and that 3/4" madmods is talking about on the sideskirts, im pretty certain thats just a bad piece that he got, because the dimensions are the same between the coupe and vert... but do expect to make these types of adjustments with just about any kit you get. -------------------- Believer, you'll leave her, in leaving them all No but I don't buy it Like anything you do, as anyone you are Cause I'm... QUOTE ahh that could be... however there was still not a wheel upgrade. I think he meant the GT alloy wheels vs. hubcaps which is what you kinda expect when getting an ST. -------------------- A Jaws4God Creation... |
