awhile ago i installed a pod filter on my 5sfe and now i wanted to instal new piping
but there are 2 problems.

1st: the sensor inside the stock rubber piping, how do you install it in the metal piping? (without it falling out again)

2nd: at the end of the piping (close to the throttle body) there is a small black box under the pipe that is connected to it. what is this? and do you need it?

i appreciate any help! wink.gif

Well, I can't speak from experience, because I bought my car with a CAI on already, but I don't have any of that on mine. Install without them in and see how it runs, thats the best you can do. If it runs like crap then its time to start looking at putting those things back on.
