Hi guys,
I was wondering if anybody can tell me
on what shifter cable to use on a e153 tranny swap.
I've try to search for it but it came out blank.
Please help...

GT cables work. Thats what I have. I would bet the ST205 cables would also work and, if they did, would be a better option.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

so I dont have to use theST185 cable.
Does the St185 and St205 uses the same shifter cable?

I know the 185 cables work on a 5th gen swap. I therefore assume the 205 cables will work on a 6th gen swap. I do not know whether the 185 cables will work on a 6th gen swap. There is some discussion about this in a thread I started on celicatech.com:
