yesterday i uninstalled my pod filter to clean it, and i allso wiped inside the intake pipe when suddenly i hear a very small "buzzing" sound come from inide the intake pipe, then a blue spark went off!!

i think it came from the little sensor thats installed in the side of the intake pipe?
but im not sure,

does anyone know what this is? confused.gif

strange, I hear the sound sometimes too, when I am under the hood. But I always thought it had something to do with powersteering vacuums or so. but it sounded more like sparks though.

the car has been running fine,

ive been thinking that it makes a spark to get rid of dirt or vapour that may enter the intake pipe, but that idea is just ridiculous (if toyota intended it to actually do something like that!) confused.gif

i mean it might make the pod filter catch on fire or it may warm up the air entering the engine (which doesnt do any good)
