Hi, the plate that has the plastic rollers that allow the quarter window to roll up straight(on a vert...) broke, I did order the part but after taking off the plastic panle that has the speaker grille and such, it looks impossible to get too/off the window and back on etc etc.... I have PM'd a few people with verts and did alot of searching but can't quite find what I need to help me install this thing.

Has anyone done it, have info or how to type details?? It falls and rattles when I roll down the driver side window and I usually have to pull it up, prop iton the drivers window etc, so....anyone?

Thanks in advance biggrin.gif

yea vibe, I did it to both my rear windows, and its a pain in the ass. The problem is that i dont remember much. Roll the window all the way up using your hand to pull it if you have to. Unbolt the plate that connects to the window. I dropped plenty of nuts down there, and on the vert, theres no access so a magnetic retrival tool is a must.

Do you remember any of the big stuff you have to take out of the way? I wanna do this myself its just looking at it, it seems impossible to get to, nothing to unbolt and I dunno how to even get it off the window! >=/

Edit: I want your kit =P

look down at the bottm of the window, put a shop light so you see. The plate bolts on to the window. Your going to have to put a wrench down there to loosen it up. Remove the scres and then remove the window. Bolt your new plate to it. Give it a shot, thats all you can do

Yeah so I got the window out last night after like any hour, it was connected to the arm that rolls it up and down etc, but once I got it out I couldn't get the old plate off, it was connected by these weird things I have never seen before, so I had no tool to get them off. I'm pretty sure if I could get them off then I could put it back in with a little work. Any ideas, maybe you can ask your mechanic Shid? Or you have a flashback Mods?
Its raining here and my windows proped up by the vert top *tear*
