Starting on my new project., Need feedback, options, and opinion? Options

Hey guys,

I'm not sure how many of you know that i was in a accident almost a year ago and the celi has not been like it used to. Poor thing hasnt been driven in AT LEAST 5 months . Its just sitting in my driveway now. Anyway, I am finally slowly but surely am recovering from that accident. Well i am going for a little different look. PLEASE PLEASE don't ask what it is. It is TOP SECRECT . Only my future sponsours know of what i have in store . I dont mean to be rude about it. But if its ready on time i will take it to the Kansas meet in the summer. Or any big summer nation meet.

Well i need some help deciding on my color. I do want to go with Candy apple red, but i also want a pearl, i want a BLACk pearl, but i have heard here and there that there is NO BLACK pearl? Can anyone verify this? IF it true what would be the best substitute. A someone at the body shop once said a purple pearl? What do you guys think?

Now for wheel? I had in mind the VOLK SF CHALLENGE Bronze w/ a chrome lip?


Or any other rim similar? For some reason i fell in love w/ the bronze or gold w/ sliver lip look. If i would've kept the black going then i would've gone w/ black w/ a silver lip. Kinda get where I'm heading?

Well so that i dont completely leave you in the dark, Ill let you know some work. IF i can find 1, an MR2 tranny w/ LSD, HKS BOV, new IC piping, head rebuild, ECU upgrade (C-one/ELP) or stand alone, tein/J speed/ or C-one suspension. Ill be looking to be sitting at around 300 whp.

hok makes a black pearl. and definetly those volks. if you can afford them they are the way to go

nice most people know my plans but won't know the final look and such of every thing haha i love "secret projects" after accidents mine has been sitting for 6 months man it sucks

but my paint is house of color

base paint is HOK BC-25 (normal black)
then my clear coat will be mixed with ICE PEARL BLUE for a very nice finish

but the rest is under wraps lol

Good to hear from you again man. I loved your car before the accident and am very excited to see your project develop. I'm not really digging those rims, but I will say I love bronze/gold. I'm sorry but I can't make another suggestion on them. Good luck though.

Wheels make the car for me....Definately go big with them, with something high-end like those Volks, Work wheels (my favorite), HRE wheels, etc. Looking foward to seeing it rebuilt and sponsored.

Hey thanks for the feedback guys. Good to know I'm not forgotten here. Also be on the look out for the parts i will be selling off the celi. Most things will go, but ill post that on a later date. AND YES IM KEEPING THE 3SGTE!

Anyway i was thinking HOK also, I know theyre good and a little price at the same time.

yea my paint isn't costiing that much

with out the primer stuff the total
paint/reducer/catalyst/clear/ice pearl

was like under 500$ weeeee
but 2-6 oz of ice pearl (not sure the size) was 90$ hehe
