I'm thinking about re-doing my subsetup. Right now I just have one KX600.1 amp powering a ten inch SL7. Had it since the silver cones came out. Really think its an awesome sub but want to maybe go with something new.

I can get some Kappa Perfects for an awesome price at work and thinking about getting either two 12" or two 10" and powering them w/ two mono block 600 watt amps. & doing a custom inclosure in the trunk. Just wondering what y'all think about the perfects.

Reference page for infinity

what kind of sound are you looking for? Infinity is Sound Qaulity, and you wont be going in a wrong direction that way.. remember look at the RMS of the subs and the amps at different ohms... also id go sealed.. Infinity subs really sound better sealed..

I have the 12" reference, and it sounds really nice and hits pretty hard. Ive heard nothing but positive comments about the perfects.

you could also keep your L7, and port it to around... 33hz or so... i mean i have a 15" sub in mine... 4.3cf box tuned to 28hz..

http://www.sounddomain.com/memberpage/738344

but i might just do four 12"s ported next... dunno yet..
