I finally bought the mr2 lsd tranny. I will be replacing my s54 tranny with my swap. I need to know what 3 motor mounts to use with the mr2 tranny, and what shift linkage for the 6gen swap.

you need the shift linkage thing (not sure what its called) from an alltrac tranny. Not sure which cables though or which mounts.

GT cables will work (its what I used) Or, ST205 cables would be better. Sphinx has them in his car - you may want to ask him. You can pick up a set for $50 shipped from www.chicoraceworks.com

I need to know if you can use alltrac mounts or mr2 motor mounts. They both should be the same right?

I'm not so sure the MR2 mounts will work. I'm not saying they won't, i've just never seen or heard of anyone using them. I'm using the ST205 mounts. No modification needed, they're a perfect fit. I have the part #'s for the ST205 mounts and cables at home. If you want, i'll post them up when I get off of work. |
