Exhaust of turboed socal meet ppl, exhaust Options

Ive been to two of the socal meets. Exhaust is one of those things you kinda really need to hear to firgure out what you want. Thus my question. What kind of exhaust are you guys running.

I assume its at least a 2.5 or 3 inch pipe but what kind of tip are you running. Spec or link to the manufacture site or ne thing about the product would be much appreciated.

also when i go turbo i plan on running the stock down pipe from a ct26 set up. This should have one cat back on the down pipe. I plan on running just that for a while and keeping my stock exhaust just hanging so it looks like i still have exhaust. Is this a good idea? Im not guna be shooting flames out from under my car out of the end of the down pipe.

not a very good idea

im not sure of teh size and shape of the DP for a ct26 off a 3sgte, but im pretty sure it will still terminate inside the engine bay.

thats a lot of heat to let loose in your engine bay.

downpipes make a world of difference.

get a 3inch one from the get go. and run 3 inch exhaust all the way back, MANDREL bent, crush bends suck, and as few bends as possible. as for muffler, magnaflow sounds good.

and running open downpipe in CA is just begging for trouble.

What i was afraid of. I figured id jsut save up till i could get exahust but looks like ill have to do the whole thing together.

i'm using a 3" DP and full 3" exhaust all the way. I'm using a 3" muffler from Signal Auto. It's an exact replica of the HKS Carbon Ti muffler

What other tips are you so cal meet ppl using
