Heh...theres a reason it's 55MPH...thats how fast you're supposed to drive. It sounds like you need a fuzz buster, since you didn't learn from the first time.

I kno in NY you can ask to pay a heftier fine in exchange for less points on your license. I much rather do that, since money you'll always get back.

Whatever you do... show up to traffic school again, the DMV 75% of the time won't notice you already wen't to traffic school the first time and wont bother telling your insurance company about your little ticket, it doesn't always work but I have heard many success stories, or you can always higher a special lawyer that shows up to court for you and he makes sure the cop that pulled you over isn't there and he pleads your case for you.

Hey try to move your time earlier and often times the cops won't know or find out in time and never show up.

Sorry but I can't stand preachers like you. If you want to drive 55mph, go buy a volvo or a suzuki crappe. The celica is a sports car, and if you don't drive it to it's limit once in a while, you don't deserve to be driving it.

I drive fast, but I drive carefully, I've never had a crash (in 5 years or driving), and I've been caught speeding twice. (I speed on roads I know everyday).

I'm not saying that the speed limits aren't there for a reason - I've been at the scene of some nasty crashes - but don't throw in snide little comments about driving fast when they won't accomplish anything

DRIVE CAREFULLY! - not slowly.

(my 2 cents)

Well put Kamix. I think it's too easy to get a license here. The speed limit is based on road conditions and plays to the lowest common denominator(SUVs/Trucks).
If we all drove sports cars and actually knew how to drive them, there wouldn't be a need for speed limits.

Most states have been using the speed limit as a cash cow anyways. I'm sure all of you know of a stretch of road near your area that goes something like, 55 then down to 45 for no reason and then back to 55. It's set up like that so the cops can sit in the 45 area and catch people who have yet to slow down or just didn't see the 45 sign.

Road by my house...goes 55>45>40>35 around some dumb corner where the cops hide and then back up to 45....and the cops hide there because the limits are quick changes...like an 1/8 mile apart so people are still slowing down from gpoing 50 when they hit the 35 and wham! get nabbed...I actually was foolin aroudn tonight after the movies and on a back road...limit was 40 and I decide to slam it down and I was doin about 80-85...and in this park I see a cop sittin there....luckily he's facing the other way....but hes got his radar out...i slam on the brakes...luckily no squeals and I'm down to 35 by the time my fuzz buster picks him up scanning me...he knew I was speeding cuz he flashed his high beams at me and i could see him in my rear view mirror....it's safe to say that I drove 5 mph under the limit the rest of tonight...i cant get another speeding ticket until july 23rd or else i get my license revoked for 6 months...i got one small ticket on my permit and i get sh*t on...oh well.

My two and half cents(haha I got more!) is: Drive fast if you want to, i don't care as long as you don't run into anyone and you're in control..if you get a ticket then you deserved it and life goes on. Speed if you want, long as you don't kill anyone or hurt anyone then by all means "pedal to the metal"!
