my engine check light keeps going on and off..i was thinking it might be my O2 or something...doe anyone know how to do your own check engine light code for the 6GC??...it would be really helpful...i know i could rent one from Auto Zone or something but have to put like 60bucks down...any way to find out the code yourself??...i tried the Te1 and the Te or something like that but it didnt work.. only for other toyota....

yea 96 and up u need the scan tool.... if u don't have the 60 bucks to rent the tool at autozone..just ask them to check it for u .. they will come out and run the test for u .. that way u don't have to rent the tool ..
