Hi,
I was just wondering what I could do about my headlights. There is a black rubber trim that goes around all of them, and they seem to be coming off.. Would ordering replacement trim fix this?? The trim does not appear to be broken, its just loose so I always push it back in a bit... Thanks, Rob -------------------- |

they just do that. if it really bothers you, you can take off your front bumper and adjust the clips that hold it on. although they will eventually come loose again anyway

Thanks guys that was fast .. Um I'm not sure if I want to superglue it.. What if I replace the headlight like jgreening said... Will I have to order a new one? (the rubber piecet that is..)
I'm glad to know that it's a common problem, I thought it was maybe cause my cars 11 years old.. -Rob This post has been edited by RbrtNdrws: Mar 3, 2005 - 10:29 PM -------------------- |

superglue it. on the RARE event that you need a new headlight (which is very unlikely unless you are in a wreck, in which case you'll probably need a new seal anyway...), the trim is only 8 bucks. i had to order some for my high-beams not long ago.

i used a rubberized glue......
holds it in place, but you can get the rubber rings off if ever you want with a sharp blade !!!!! -------------------- Life is for living, and you don't get a second chance Take care now !! |

Nope, they will remove easily if you use superglue, i useed it, and still removed myne easy (ruber surounding) Superglue wount stick to glass too hard, but it will help to hold the surounding in place.

if your missing the metal clip that holds the ring in place just get a flexible piece of metal and bend it in the same way and it holds it in place, well at least for me
