I just got my z3 fenders in. I also purchased a new front bumper (to replace battered by a toolbox old one) made by chase aerodynamics. They claim it has some sort of blue coat gel thingie that makes it better than vis by being more sturdy.
Anyways last time I installed the bumper I ran into a problem that fiberglass hates to be drilled in that tiny litte place where it should be drilled (on side between lowbeam and side marker) to install. There have to be 3 holes in there.. we all know it. Now here is a dillema. My z3 fender has holes drilled but that specific place does not. So this time instead of killing both my fender and the bumper can't I just use a mini permanent clamp that will hold it tight? I really do not want to go through that headache again. Last time fiberglass just gave up and cracked on me. -------------------- Captain Pessimist

I would say drill, thinking that a clamp would give way and one day come off and break anyways. It cant be that hard, clamp it on a bench make sure your messure twice. just use a nice drill it should work. do it very slowly and use the right bit.
