So I pulled out of my house earlier, and before any music comes on my subs start pounding i guess at their max volume, scaring the **** outta me, so I pull over and go back and see that my two amps have water (I think almost all over them, like a thin coat. So I start to dry them off, and I notice that NOTHING around the amps is even wet. The backs of the seats weren't wet, the sub box wasn't wet, and the carpeting where the wires are wasn't wet. I have no idea how any liquid got anywhere near the amps. Anyway, I dried off the amps with paper towels, unplugged them from the subs and capped off the wires so they wouldn't touch, then let them dry for 6 hours or so, and when I plugged them in again everything is working great, except my battery got really drained by that sudden burst of power being drained out of it. This is the weirdest thing to happen to my car to date. There were drinks in my trunk, but none of them had leaked, and I still think it's weird that nothing around the amps were wet, but they were fully covered. So is there anything I should check to make sure it's not messed up? Everything seems to be in proper order, I don't understand at all how it happened. Anybody experience anything like this? |
