Tanning Bed Options

I went to the tanning bed. I know guys aren't suposed to do this, but my girlfriend wanted to go, and she's really shy so I went with her. That place sucked. I have two big streaks down my back were I didn't tan because of bad bulb placement. Anyone know if theres anything I can do about this? Anyone have any tanning bed stories? And is this a girl thing only?

Its definatley not a "girls only" thing. My girlfriend owns one, and 1/2 the towns police go tanning. As well as alot of other guys. If you have streaks its definately a bad place, it could be from the plastic if its gone bad and its all cracked. You can tantowels and have ur g/f rub them on where the streaks are.

Tanning is pretty relaxing, I went alot right before I went to Jamaica.

I know a few guys that go/went.. but i would more or less concider then merto.. but thats cause how they are. My buddie has been trying to convince me to go, cause his g/f works at a tan shop and i can do it for free.. but i would much rather be out side on a boat or somthing to be tan..

But I have heard good things about it.. like helps clean out your pores an skin an stuff and relaxing and such..

oh man lol i go tanning lol its not a girsl thing man its a thing for fair skinned like mostly everyone on here heheh but yea dont listen to the people who work there cause the first time i went i asked the guy uumm how long i should go for he was like ohhh ur hispanic u have olive skin (which i dont im white lol ) he was like you should go full 30 min im like oh ok so i go get out feel lil burning its aight then im on the computer and i start to itch OMGGGGGGGggggg dawg my whole body was sooo red i was a freakin lobster man takin a shower was a bithccccccccccccc lol so yea if u do go start off with 5 min then increase umm its kinda too early to go tanning wait till may

The streaks are white streaks were I didn't tan. I think I'll keep tanning, it makes my skin look better. I went for 12min first, only thing that burnt was my butt. That really burnt too. It's never seen the light of day. I'm mad at the place for giving my the streaks though, and I'd like to ask for my money back. Is there reasonable? Or is this enough of a normal thing that I shouldn't complain?

I tan pretty quick with just sun, I'm half-mexican so I tan easy. I don't ever have to worry about tanning, instead of burning, I get really dark. But I'm so pale during the winter it's sick. I would go tanning.

I've been going to tan every other day now for a month and I am really tan. I know it's not good for you, but it's sooo nice when you're tan.

In order to prevent yourself from getting burnt and make yourself tan better, you need to buy that expensive lotion crap they sell. It is VERY expensive but it lasts a long time and it's worth it.

Thats the exact way i am.. Im spanish and polish.. So In summer Im really tan, and i get tan evry easy.. but winter comes around im just as white as every norm joe.. it sucks.. Cause I get a lot more women hitting on me when im tan..

Are they really noticeable? If you dont mind, show them and yeah maybe you can get a free session to help cover it. Also, make sure they're certified. If you dont see a certification on the wall, they probably dont kno what they're talking about.

Yeah, they are noticable. Almost an inch think, and they are 2 solid lines that run from about my shoulders to my knees. I bought a 4 tan plan, so I've got 3 more to go to yet. Will that cover them up?
