Are you seriously doing a 7A-GE? The fact that you have to ask which header to use doesn't exactly imply that you've got the knowledge/searching abilities to build a hybrid 7A-GE.
That said, the 20V stock header or a 16V 4A-GE header will work, the latter requiring modification. Two bolt holes on the outer flange of the header don't line up, so you have to weld on extra metal and drill new holes for the mounting bolts I believe. I've seen photos somewhere...if you search you'll find them eventually. As far as horsepower numbers, I'm pretty sure that you don't use a stock block. I think pistons require changing, and the piston will affect compression, and therefore horsepower. You have a lot of research to do before you take on a project like this. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

Tis why I avoid answering such questions in detail. The tech guys can tell when a person is capable of doing such a conversion... and will give answers accordingly. It's not that we're holding back... but if you can't figure out such simple things... you're never gonna understand what it takes to tackle such a project. I personally considered doing this set-up to my AE86, but after long thinking and consideration, I decided against it. There is a weakspot in the 7A that can hurt performance...

QUOTE(st_celica_killer @ Mar 7, 2005 - 8:09 PM) hey coomer since you have done a 4age 20v inside yours??? did you hook up the vvti??whatever its calll.and does it makes any diffence at high end......also how far is your redline??? No 4A-GE engines have VVT-i. I have VVT hooked up though. It does make a difference throughout the entire RPM range, and I redline at 7800. Anything else you need to know can be found through searching. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...
