You live in Florida. There's a million places to get your car painted. Ask around.

The biggist problem about macco, is the fact the dont do any real prep work. I would suggest you do all the prep work, also they dont wet sand which will leave orange peal. It wouldnt be bad for a beater car that just looks like poo.. but if your looking for anything great, go else where.

Maaco is a wierd thing, normal rule is they do crappy work. But some do good jobs. You need to ask around because who ever does the best prep job will be the best person to go to.

I had my car painted at Maaco. Looks awesome, however... they will refuse molding, provide no guarantees etc on the fiberglass parts.

maaco = worthless crap paint job. Used to have an integra, got it painted, had "bubbles" all over, took it back, they said it was "normal" and will go away. a month later, it was still there. I can swear I think they used spray paint to paint my car. errr... my old car.

here's the thing all macco's are different each has its own owner and each operates differently so you don't know what you'll get general ruling is they arent good but u should go see there work and decide on your own.

Yeah I think each Maaco is different, but as long as you prep really well you should be fine. How do you think i is possible to have a one day turn around on a paintjob? They do very little if any prep work if any. My paint turned out good, a few sketchy spots but other than that really well.

the thing is, if your gonna do a job, do the job right the first time. They shouldnt have to paint a car multiple times. If your turning your car into a show car, go somewhere else. If you just got into an accident and need to sell your car, take it to maaco.

yeap...no show from maaco. But for a few hundred dollars and a older car of lower value maaco can bling it up pretty good.
