 cv joints, hope i'm in the right place |

does the car have to be jacked up with wheels off the tell if the cv joints are busted? when i accelerate out of my driveway i hear random low klunk then about 3 minutes later the noise is completely gone ive tried turning off engine and rolling and turning no noise only when the car is cold

put the car on stands in the front, wood blocks in back tires, so cars front is in air and secure, run car and turn wheels and listen for noises, any klunks while turning is cv joint/axle. if its not making noise while turning, check for anything in tires or under car.

How hard is it to replace the axles on the Celi?
Back when I had a 94' Sentra, there was no bolts no nothing holding the axles to the transmission, we had to pry'em out and it was freaking tough work. -------------------- |

i think its like 6 bolts and then pry it out?
