I'm parting out the '95 Celica, and I cannot figure out how I'm going to ship some stuff. The four headlights, for example, are put into two boxes and would cost $66 for UPS Ground or $60 through USPS. The door panels, wrapped in cardboard and bubble wrap, would cost $65 through USPS.
Yet when I buy things on eBay(like my recent purchase of heavy lowering springs), shipping was $17. What's the best way to ship things like door panels, headlights, tail-lights, interior plastic panels, etc? -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

My driver's side low beam on the yellow Celica is fine. The one on the purple Celica has two small holes, but the person I'm selling them to doesn't care about those very much. We do have a business account here at work. I should go ask the shipping department people. They're always sending out huge parts and stuff so I bet they could help me. I don't really like to talk to them though...they're really weird. QUOTE(hellsyphon @ Dec 27, 2004 - 10:18 AM) did you try usps? Yep. I tried them. Still expensive. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

Hey, when i was parting out my bimmer, the only comapny i used was us-mail. The largest thing i shipped was two door panles,a nd it cost me $24 for um i think it was to umm some where out there, it was far i know that. But they have always gave me the cheapist prices, just make sure to box it as small as possible. i know the first time i took the box up there, they said i could cut it down an inch and save me a $100 fee. so I would try tht.

Yeah grayhound is probibly the best for bigger things.
The last time I used fedex they shipped it to my house rather then the address it was suppose to be shiped to, needless to say I'm never gana use there shipping again, and there tracking sux. UPS is the best for most things but you pay for that quality. -------------------- |

I worked for both companies, ya it might be cheaper to ship but do you know how many things really get broke because of poor packaging. -------------------- To live, is to suffer
