Hey all, I'm looking to get some body work done on my car after the snow season is completely over. I'm moving from Colorado back to California, and I'd like to get all of the rock damage repaired. My front end is pretty chewed up from sand (it looks speckled on the bumper and hood). The very front of the fenders (where they meet the bumper are chipped down to metal, and the speckles look rusted. What kind of body work will need to be done to repair this? I also have about half a dozen small door dings that I'd like to get fixed at the same time. Has anyone got any good advice about what kind of service to choose? I'd like the car repainted it's original black color, and I'd like the quality to be as good as factory. Any pointers on what kind of body shop to look for and equipment they should have? Any advice would be appreciated, as I know absolutely nothing about this. I don't mind spending to get this done right, but I don't want to get ripped off, either, or get a half a$$ed job.

Id say where ever you are, ask around. maybe attend a local car meet or somthing, and ask them. or maybe even go to some garages that dont do body work and see if they would recomend any one. and when you go to a shop, ask to see some pics of cars they have done in the past. That should give you an idea of there work.
