IF you done with the basics at performance dont spend the money for that extra dangerous HP and spend it for exterior,a beautiful car you can notice it and keep watching it until goes away,a fast car will be lost in seconds so even if its extremly beautiful you will not notice it wink.gif So we have a point here,we should buy a cheap double cabin car and make it fast:) Who will notice that its a double cabin?wink.gif

I believe in having something that's more powerfull than it looks. Why have a nice bodykit and rims without the power to back them up?

It's more of a personal preference though. Some people don't like to drive fast, but want something that looks good. Others want the fast car but not the attention that a bodykit will get them. Still others want both, the looks to get the attention and the speed to keep it.

Both for me.
Beauty comes first than its personality ^^
one thing though...I won't be driving till the power is near completion.

I believe in both. I my opinion, you have to have a balance. Good thing for us that 6G's come beautiful in their stock state.

I like the "sleeper" look first then do the exterior part of it so that way you have a way to back up the fast look of it when needed. But having a good balance between the 2, as in doing a little performance here then some styling there.

I choose beauty over power cuz im the cruzin type of guy that hardly race. If you buy a 3S-GTE then good for you. Im pretty happy with my stock. Parts for 5S-FE are very accessible compared to the 3S-GTE. Just as long as my car is able to get from point A-to-point B then im fine biggrin.gif But hey.....Whatever tickles your pickle. biggrin.gif

If it was only that easy... tongue.gif ...o well...I would go with power then beauty..cause our cars are already pretty good looking...but yeah...its always cool to have a sweet looking ride though....

I would choose looks over power. Where i live traffic is pretty bad sometimes, so i would rather be stuck in traffic with a sweet looking ride so chiks can drool over it and hopefully jump in. biggrin.gif

Form follows function, its that simple. Rims, suspension, bodykit, spoiler....these things look cool because your brain associates them with providing a performance increase. You should start off with upgrading the 4 surfaces of the car that actually touch the road. I think good looks without the performance to match is like bragging about **** you don't have. I think a car looks even better when I know in the back of my mind that it has performance to match. You can't forget that the sound a car makes is the most viceral sence you can get from a car. All go and no show is the only acceptable extreme, or else your just a ricer.

Don't be upset, but with a 6th gen celica, why are we talking of power......Except if you swap a 200 hp engine, Celicas are no fast cars....I don't think its usefull to put a few 1000$ on the engine if you're not close to move in the 14s on the 1/4. You roll 16.5 or 15.5, to me, its the same. Too many cars do that speed and better bone stock. If you want power, you go turbo or you get a supra.
And if you get a wonferfull looking car with poor power, well make sure you don't act like you have a hot car 'cause you'll get laught at.......
So go with full power and few or full look, but don't go full look and few power.

This is only my point of vue ! Don't get upset...!!! wink.gif

i tell everyone that my car is slow but soon i will be turboed and i will still say my car is slow.

i too like the idea of a sleeper. sorta like the fiero kit cars. why look fast when you are not? people always think my car is a fast car and that is bad enough. i think its at the point where no one even revs me, probably because everyone sees me take corners at insane speeds and make the canyon run faster than anyone else at my school, or because i beat the riced out civic ex.

soon i will have turbo, then that will be all for performance aside for eventual fuel system upgrades and higher boost and maybe an intercooler bigger than the stock gsx intercooler i have(it has good flow, does the job, and is easy to hide)

after i turbo, i will get wheels and trd springs, then i will have all the little dents and scratches removed and i will be done with the car. at that point i will save up to go through all the hassle of importing a st205 or shoot for a supra tt

there are hardly any body kits for any cars that i like. they make cars look either really really really ugly or look faster than they are or are never painted(i hate people that cant wait to paint the kit they got)
