well it happened the infamous rear eneded, but I have to say Thank you Toyota for Options

Well thought out bumpers
Got rear ended and then shunted into the car in front of me
but was lucky, my car may be only stock but survived with
and some paint damage and minor scratches on the bumpers
phew I say, thought it was going to be worse when I saw
what was coming up behind me.
I was on the motor way heading home after work when the car in front slowed so I followed suit
then looking in the rear mirror I could see it all happening
the driver behind me wasn’t paying attention, screech, BANG
and SHUNT,
The Celica came off the best as the car in font ended up with a bent bumper and the one that hit me had a smashed head light and bent hood,

So again say I well done Mr Toyota

hmm lucky you lol my mom's honda is stronger then my celi. Father hit my celi last weekend but lucky for him I wont make him pay for it. My drive side fender was already damaged and I want to get it replaced anyways. He was in my mum's civic which only has some of my paint left on it but didnt even get dented.

I bought my Celica when I was on spring break in college. I drove it off the lot, made two right turns.......and got rear ended! Worse yet it was by my girlfriend who had driven me to the dealership in her Taurus. There was no visible damage to my car, but hers was totaled. All they did to mine was take off the bumper cover, replace the foam underneath and put a new cover on because the catches had broken in the impact. I was impressed, too.

i hit my mailbox and cracked the bottom of my back bumper. you cant tell tho unless you look really close.

same thing happen to me. I was stoped on the freeway and a car hit me from behind. His airbags deployed and i was shuved underneith the jeep infront of me. The only thing that was damaged were the hi beams and the front crash bar. Other then some minor scratches nothing else was rong.

When i got out i was expecting my rear to be all messed up but besides some scratches it was fine. The front was looking bad at first but once i buffed the scuffs and cleaned up the scratches the only thing lost was the toyota emblem that poped off.

yeah my car has been backed into twice.. both really hard.. My mom even said she thought she screwed it up bad.. but only chiped paint. but then again This could explain why my hood is a lil akward.

i got rear ended by a f150 it bent up his bumper all that happend to my rear was small spider webing and lil black mark from his license plate screw.
