just out of curiosity, are the after market fiber glass fenders lighter then the OEM metal fenders?

And are the fiberglass ones strong? for example, can they withstand someone leaning on them like what people do to the normal fenders?

yea they are strong
they don't give like metal fenders so you can lean on them and everything but it will shatter if hit hard enough
and i think weight is with in 1/8 of a pound so didn't make a weight diff

the aftermarket fiberglass fenders i've seen are very poor in craftmanship and materials! mostly resin, and not much fiber at all. and around OEM weight or heavier!

wow then you havn't seen many f/g fenders dude mine are very nice quality and i'd say lighter overall then the oem rolleyes.gif

Yeah mine are nice and lighter than stock fenders. They are pretty strong too wink.gif
