hey, i bought a prestige 996a on ebay for 160 with remote start. just wondering if anyone has documented a successful alarm installation on our cars. i can get it installed for 100. would it be easy to do yourself? i would like to try it to save money and to be experienced in it. the other day i switched out my honda radiator and put a brand new koyo one in it and i also installed my premier headunit. i feel so proud about that. anyone can help me with this, id love to learn how to do this.

I have and lots of us have installed alarms/keyless entries. Look at the top of this forum (the Stickys) for all of the information you could possibly need to installation.

proper installation of the alarm is 90% of its effectiveness (or something like that)
