Hey 6gc! i have a question about my trunk...ive posted it already and got no answer so dont flame me about being redundant...i need help figuring out why my trunk wont open from the inside, i checked the rear to see if anythng was loose, but coulndt find anythng, i hear it clicking, but its not releasing. could someone help?

the trunk release cable is loose, remove the rear panel in ur trunk and make sure its on ... maybe your latch needs to be adjusted

as sound said remove the cover look at the hatch assembly make sure your cable is in the right place

try this have someone try and lift the trunk while you pull the lever... i noticed h8d ce1ica's trunk does that...

So when you turn your key, and you pull up it doesn't open or do you hear it clicking when you use the level.

Make sure the trunk isn't locked if its locked it won't open from the inside.

how about this guys...
my hatch takes excessive force to close...like i gotta give it some acceleration to get it to close.

if i do it normally it pops back up and i have to "open" it just so i can lift it to try and close it again

it feels a tiny bit loose, but i hear the connection in the back, it wont open, i will re-check it when it stops raining out here frown.gif
