Well she did it again to me.. this morning .. i get out of work walk to the hope in the celi and turn the key and .. the engine is turning but nothing... and this time i'm pretty sure its not the fuel ... but either way i'm really getting tired off all the little problems... i'm really thinking about putting a for sell sign on it and getting something newer ..

Your car is asking for a 3SGTE. I could sense it. It's desperated for the rally action.

well the i was supposed to take the car to the body shop that morning to get it repainted... but thats not happening ... i have to call them up again this is the 3 times i have had to change dates... and the extensions i'm going to hold off on them.. i'm going to make a mold of them so i have and few extra sets incause i hit somthing and mess them up .....

and i was just talking to one of my boys... and one of his bestfriends could hook me up with this sick shop out here that cane do a 3s ge swap for me.... but i really don't want a swap .. i rather just get a 5s with a lot less miles on it.. but then again mm my engine its self is not the problem...

Have you tried the basics yet? New fuel filter, spark plug wires, plugs, distributor cap, rotor, checked the fuel pump? It's probably not nearly as bad as you think. These cars will run forever.

what happens when you crank the car? does it start after a while? give us more detail and we can help you fix the problem. it also sounds like you havent done a tune up in a while.

remember a car needs 3 basic things to start, fuel, air, and spark. you have to figure out what of those 3 is causing the problem. your car has a lot of miles on it, and if i had to take a wild guess, i would say that maby your fuel pump is dead or your fuel filter is cloged

if it is your pump, let me know cause i still have my 5sfe one..

Fuel pump is working fine... filter is cloged thats why it freezes when its cold.. and now that battery just doesn't want to hold charge... i know what i have to do .. but doing it is kinda hard where the car is at right now... when u live in a city like mine its kinda hard to do anywork on ur car...

The fuel filter is pretty easy to replace at least...I replaced mine in 30 minutes Saturday night, and I'm mechanically-retarded. tongue.gif

Mac, how could your fuel freeze when its been at least 40deg + the past few days?

and if your battery isisnt holding a change, then it might not have enought cold cranking amps to start the car.
