BLADDER_MASTER, if I'm not mistaken, you have the 3S-GE swap, correct?

Way ahead of you. Been a member there for a long while and have been checking and helping out with the 3S-GE topics in the N/A section. Just wanted to point out that after I get my exhaust installed, I'm interested in doing what eazy2001x did to his 3S-GE. Bring the ACIS down to 4800RPM instead of the 5100RPM. Mainly because right now it's kicking in at 5300RPM. I was talking to Marco69 from MR2OC.com about this and his does the same too. He mentioned that because of the lower octane we get over here, the ECU pulls back some of the timing and moves the ACIS to 5300RPM instead. Don't know whether that is true or not. But with the ACIS moved to 5300RPM, both Marco69 and me end up falling out of it when shifting to 2nd and then to 3rd. After 3rd we stay in ACIS.

On a side note, for those that don't know what ACIS is and how it works, check this out:

I've got a 3S-GE too, but it's a first gen. motor in my fourth gen. Celica GT-S, and it has rod knock.
