Saw it tonight, definitley an awesome movie. It's pretty unique when talking about storyline and structure. They mustve spent a lot of time editing it too

Yea hes the assassin you see at the beginning of the movie that whacks that girl. Guess thats what you get for selling out redface.gif . Anyhow that was the best movie I've ever seen. The story line and animation was refreshingly different. That and with Jessica Alba= owned.gif

i dont know, there's a lot of things that need to be clarified. like the whole purpose of the movie... a lot of things are unsolved...why?

this movie might be an artform in the way it was produced and directed, but what are the real meanings and reasons for it.

plus, whats the deal with all the violence? way too much...i hate how they portray the actors laughing while they're killing people.

why?? Its a general theme with Frank Miller... A hero isnt always a person in a costume resucing kittens and stopping bank robberies. He is a person that puts himself in danger, puts his life on the line for what he knows is right, despite whatever anyone else may say. That sometimes heros arent always good. That doing what is right, means doing something that is wrong. That a man needs to do what he must, simply because it must be done, simply because it is right.

There is a lot of violence, harsh themes such as rape, canabilism, etc because thats what Frank Miller wrote. And Robert Rodregez wanted to stay true to that gritty, harsh, over the top impact that existed in the graphic novel. Its rather a movie turned into a comic book, rather than the other way around.

yea, you have to look at it as a comic book, not a movie

Finally went and saw this last night. Very entertaining although I can see how it would not appeal to some audiences. Bruce Willis played an awesome role although it was pretty short in the scheme of things. The ending did confuse me a bit but I think I may have figured it out. We'll leave that be for now thought because there are people who haven't seen it yet.

Thats one thing that didn't quite make sense to me either. He should of heard the gun shots and come running, but maybe he didn't like the senators son. I thought Kevin was just a plain old weird ass freak. Who does what he did?! I mean come on! Thats disguisting, and how he died smiling like that WTF?!

I though it was good, but not as good as everyone is saying. Action was cool, story was confusing... maybe i was too tired. But it was definately unique and very fun to look at. I give it 3 stars out of 4.
