most any cold air intake will fit any car, (mostly) maybe some long 1 peace ones would not, but if its 2 peaces then you can bend stuff around to fit. all you need for an CAI is some short metal pipes with odd angles and silicone mid peaces with ties, the rest is just in the placement.

Yea there are alot of people who claim different intakes fit our cars. But no one ever post pictures of there altered intakes. I personally think its a horrible hack job, and they are too embarriss to show what it looks like after they have installed it.

lol, its just piping, there is no hacking about it, no need to cut the pipes if there short, even if you did cut the pipe to get it to fit, the edges would be covored from the silicone mid peaces.

my current intake is the top peace of my full CAI that goes to the bumper, it just goes out from the intake and makes a turn to a filter where the stock box would be. nothing fancy

kits like thoes are a bit car spacific, you could get them to fit but not withough cutting the big long peace, plus its a horrible idea to put an open filter underneath like that, you will suck in water and crap from the road will hit the filter.

rumored that the tiburon intakes works also... But no pictures to prove it.

what i mean by a hack job is.. the silcon coupling would be doing most of the bending and not the metal piping. It will stress out the coupling and make it rip. Another hack job is when they manuelly bend the piping making the piping loose it shape. that sort of thing.. hack job.

the cai for a 92-95 civic works.. but it looks a bit odd and when you put it through your fender at the bottom it hits a peace of the frame/uni design. It rattles of bumps an stuff.. Im going to replace it now with a custom one im going to make with exhaust tubing.

here is a pic. user posted image

What happend to that guy who made one out of the accord one? I'd have liked if this was made into a "how to." I thought it was very well done. I'm searching for it, I'll edit it into this post if I find it.

have you seen my how to? pix are in the thread. It was done using accord piping. Check it out man.

opps seems i didnt read all the other post. lol yup the link for my how to is up there. Its currently pending approval to be in the how to section.

btw thanks to soltrain for bumping that thread up

after thought... i sure am going to miss the sharp throttle responce and the nice low pitch noise of my cai when i got turbo. O well at least ill have the loud exhaust.
