Now, I know some kits are cool, as I love the Bomex kit for the teg. But let's evaluate the 6GC body kits. Vote if you think the kits you see around 6GC are rice, or not. I'm sure you like some of em and not others. But give a general opinion of the body work you see 6GC users do.

We can discuss this maturely I think. Hopefully, if we can all take about it maturely, it can slove some of the bashing

If you want to ask that question, then post all the kits out there and ask that question. But to generally ask that question that don't make sense. My kit is from 4 different types of kit. My definition of rice is big mouth kits, big metal wings, stickers, etc

i really cant see how bodykits in general can be rice... i mean... in my book, rice is just over-DO-ing it ya know??? theres a fine line between rice and nice, and just bodykits in general dont come near that line wink.gif now if we were talking about aluminum wings with crazy big stickers and all that stuff... now thats what i call *rice (and yes i am guilty for once being rice!!!! *cry*)

everybody has different definitions of rice. for people who drive fast cars like Z's, STi's, Evos, etc...they'd consider any other car with an exhaust rice...no matter what brand...whether its catback or not. if everybody has different definitions of rice...who are u to say its rice or not?

Depends on how you look at it; a kit can be rice if you add if to Mom's old Tercel to look "cool" or any of those stories but it can also be a good aesthetic enhancement.

But overall, it comes down to personal preference. I personally believe in the right usage they are not rice.

Just lightening up this thread a little...

But I have to agree with Super. A trend that I have started noticing is keeping the original body lines with an agressive drop or just a tasteful lip kit.
