you basically have two options. the trd or the twm
the twm has a shorter throw but only includes the stick without the housing or shift knob the trd has slightly longer throw but includes the whole housing and comes with a knob I haven't driven both so I can't say which is better. but I am perfectly happy with my twm |

i went with the twm because its reduction is way more then the trd one. Pluse becuse its just the shaft its way easier to install as theres less trimming to be taken off.
I too havnt driven both but im more then happy with my twm. The throw is super short and fun to play around with in traffic and regular driving. In the end a short shifter gives a more sporty feel and because of its reduction in shift time its supose to affect track time. Personally i just like the way it feels. |

Some people say the TWM is too short. Lagos was willing to trade his TWM for a TRD because he didn't like the very short throw all that much from what I remember.
There's also the option of using the seventh gen. Celica short shifter or the Mitsubishi Eclipse/EVO/Lancer if you want to save money. A search will turn up more info regarding those. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

I personaly really like the "lancer/evo" one. It feels good not to short or to long, and comes with a knob. |
