I am thinking about getting new headunit. I was thinking of going for an OEM one from a new Tundra (pictured)
clean and simple is the look I am going for... I have a pioneer HU I like alot but I want to get a double din unit to match the look of the interior better and my old stock unit is just too old looking. I really only listen to sports talk radio and some CDs here and there. I realized I am getting older and I don't need super sound quality anymore, it just isn't as important to me as it used to be anyway, the questions I have are 1 - has anyone put a newer OEM unit in their Celi ? 2 - will the harness match up ? (plug and play) 3 - do you think it will fit fine ? ( without gaps/problems/modding ) 4 - what in your opinions are some good looking Toyota OEM DD units ? all opinions are welcome thanks This post has been edited by Batman722: Apr 6, 2005 - 2:48 AM -------------------- |

i say spend the $350 and get a kick ass cd player. make sure it can play mp3 format tho, without it I think cd players are useless. mine plays mp3 cds, get about 100 songs on 1 cd. very very nice to have :-p

if your trying to get a nice double din, i would get a pioneer out of the new scions. I hooked up a Lx470 nakamichi 6disk indash into my celi but because it came out of a lexus it was security locked so u might check to see if the tundra one is the same.
