so start playing with the cambers.what kind of sways and brace you have on your car. and what do you recommend me getting and what would be best for minor drift and autoX and just for fun turns on the street. you have any idea.

You can't drift in a FF car. Sorry. I think that the ST sways are what most people from this forum have - they're good stuff. If you wanna shell out about 1200 dollars, you can get yourself the Tein coilovers, but I'd say that'd be overkill.
props for most enthusiastic post title. |

well the only things left FOR you to do are strut bars, wider wheels, and some sticky tires...
but if you wanted to start over, then yea tein super streets... if your car is a daily driver def dont mess w/ Camber, but if you are okay w/ wearing tires prematurely, then go nuts. -------------------- |

you say you have KYB GR2 shocks and Tein Springs. Tein Super Street is a full coil-over system, and would not need KYBs...at least that's what i thought are you sure you dont mean you have Tein Type-S Springs? -------------------- |

Consynx is refering to the super streets, the full dampner kit. It looks like you said you had the springs, which are not bad either. But if you want the BEST than the super streets are what ya want, and also $1200. And the suspension techniques sway bars you could find here: Possible Group Buy Nopi.com has them and streetbeatcustoms.com as well.......Good luck with the suspension.... |

Rear sway bar was the best suspension part I have ever bought. It just felt so different then stock. BTW Suspension Technics is the only sway bar on the market.

I hear good things about stock suspension... except it's not low enough.
Seriously now... how do you go about comparing full dampners (1200+ Teins) to low rate spings and stock replacement shocks? I'll be the one to say, 99% of you's get springs because you like your car lower. Lowering the car without decreasing stroke will almost always create a rougher ride. 90% of lowering springs made for 6gc celicas are not balanced sets. Their spring rates are low, their damping balance is unknown, it's all a mystery... but why oh why do we all get lowering springs? Cause they lower the car. Then why the discussion about which "brand" of spring is better than which? How do you even discuss this without mention of spring rates? stroke? balance? Who cares.... it's all about getting the car lowered. As far as sway bars go... unless you race the car on occasion... you don't need them. They don't do anything for looks... they don't really improve daily driver quality, they don't even neccesarily increase handling capability unless you know how to set-up a balanced suspension... so there really isn't a point aside from bragging rights. -------------------- "It's ok to be naked girl... i might as well add something to this discussion..
progressive springs.... Most people think after market progressive springs are good, they offer better ride quality and handling. But in reality, that is exaggerated. Progressive springs need to be matted with progressive shocks inorder to take full advantage of the exponential spring rate increase through out the travel of the suspention. The problem is, there are no shocks that are designed for those spefic progressive springs. |

eh, IMO i'd just go w/ Ground Controls w/ the KYBs GR2s that you have...
basically Eibach's, but you can raise/lower it... they even let you pick what spring you want(pro-kit, sportline), and there were some stories about people getting to pick their spring rate. -------------------- |

yeah i thought about getting ground control but i just dont like the fact that it adjustables plus is it bounces to much. doesn't it.

it shouldn't...i believe you're thinking of the ebay kits you can get at like $60
Aerospeed? is also cheap. just make sure you dont lower it to where parts off the wheel are facing below the horizontal that originally were above.(trying to make sure there's not an exeption to this) -------------------- |
