Just curious as to how long you guys think a 7AFE motor with a 126,000 nicely driven miles would hold up with about 6psi intercooled. The car runs absolutely perfect and has had no problems. Im starting to think i want to put the turbo on first, and then after the motor goes, i'll rebuild with internals. What do you guys think! Oh yeah its an auto also.

nothing much.
Just make sure that you change all seals, belts and so forth. If possible, just pull the head down which is not hard all all and see how your rings, pistons and vavle seals look like4. -------------------- West_Minist

With scheduled maintenence, and non-stupid actions(ie: drag racing every night) it could last. You'd just have to watch your oil, and not boost it much over 6.

it all depends on how the car was driven for all those miles and how the car acts now and what the maintainance was like.
basically, you shouw be good. the good thing about autos(i have one) is that it is a little harder to drive them hard, you cant do very crazy stuff with an auto, lol i have 74k miles and im gonna be turboing pretty soon(need 4 more things as soon as i sell some **** on ebay) i have already installed some of the parts like exhaust and intercooler and turbo timer(dont make fun of me for doing that, i just want it done asap, lol) worst comes to worst, buy a new(used and warrentyed actually) 7afe for around $700 -------------------- 1994 Celica GT4 WRC Edition
