ok, so today I was driving and I got caught at a yellow light where I need to hit the brakes hard to stop...as I'm doing this, the e-brake lights in the cluster lights up! My e-brake was not on, I checked...twice!

Anyone else have or hear about this?

It could be something else... I recently got my brake pads replaced (rear) and I noticed that my ebrake light stays on now.

My fluid is fine, checked that, but I haven't had any time to look at the back wheels to see what is going on. It could be something else, but I just wanted to throw that out there. Might want to take a sec to look into a wiring issue...

Methinks thats whats going on with mine because that same issue happened after brake work with a late 90s Trans Am I used to have. smile.gif

Yeah, I had the same thing happen. I tore my car apart trying to figure out why (I was sure it was the sensor switch on the e brake handle) and then finally someone told me to check my fluid! I felt pretty stupid...
