Ok so... when i first got my celi my sunroof was leaking... so i stood up through it and cleaned the drains.... seemed to work fine.

Then i went to college last year and my lovley parents decided that the Celi didnt need to be covered even though i covered it when i left, and my dad put the cover on his tractor... yeah... a tractor over a celica... i want to cry thinking about it.... mad.gif

anyways, i come home from school after some serious rain... HUGE ammount of water in my car. Needless to say i was fuming and i screamed at my rents for like a week.

Anyway, that was a year ago, and it seemed to have stopped when i cleaned it out again... Now i annoyed my parents to much they gave me the garage biggrin.gif

But before i got in the garage it leaked again, my uncle reciently opened a detailing shop and his friend is a mechanic and i brought my car to them.

They figured out that the roof is leaking under the interior of my car and comming out the bottom near my glove compartment...

so i droped about 400 bucks and i gave my uncle the Celi when i went on vacation in Feb. He had the car for a week, the timing belt was also getting done at the same time.

So i come home and im so excited that my baby is fixed... and i run in the garage and i almost died... Apparently my jack ass uncle didnt have enough time for my car so he DUCT TAPED MY ROOF SHUT.

WTF!

so after much screaming my car is still broken, im out 150 for the sunroof repair and i cant get the tape residue off my sun roof. ( the tape came off after a few weeks)

And to make everything worse my uncle had a falling out with my parents and now he doesnt talk to anyone.

any suggestions on how i get this **** off my car before i have a heartattack? confused.gif mad.gif cwm13.gif

1.) calm down
2.) go to your locate auto parts store and ask for bumper sticker glue remover. it works like a charm on all stick residue.(that and actually lighter fluid work great)
3.) this is the tricky part .... you need to find a secluded place that no one goes ... to hide the bodies
4.) buy a gun
5.) buy bullets
6.) kill uncle if he doesnt return money and hide body

The sticky from the tape??? WD40 usually gets it off, quickly followed by a clean and polish.

i'd get a bucket of water and a cup
and pour water over to fidn the leak...
go from there, it aint worth GUESSING where it's coming from
and if there's just a hole in the sunroof plastic, then u can seal it

lamp oil, (couple of dollars a bottle at k-mart) does a fine job on tape adhesive, and doesn't eat paint like lighter fluid might. not nearly as flammable as lighter fluid or WD-40 either, but it will burn.

most likely problem is bad weatherstrip around the sunroof, shouldn't be all that expensive,

Did they get the timing belt on? that alone would have been at least 150...

Yeah they did the timing belt at least they did something! But the mechanic that was doing the work called my dad the other night and apparently my jack ass uncle never paid him for any of the work he did and thats why he didnt fix the roof, but my uncle is still the one who put the damn tape on. I asked the mechanic guy, he said he will tell my uncle to give him the money for the work and he will get the part the roof needs and fix it in my garage. Hopefully this will work out. If not there is another mechanic that did body work on my celi a few years back when i had an accident I can have him take a loot at it. Orrr you guys can all just come to my house and fix it biggrin.gif wink.gif lol
