There is a guy on the mr 2 boards that can make all kinds of stuff out of carbon fiber. I thought it would be a long shot but I emailed him and asked if he would be willing to help us out and make celica parts also. Well he wants to know what kind of ideas we had in mind. So what would you all like to see done in carbon fiber?
I was thinking maybe fuse boxes, cruise control cover and alike. How about a rear lisc plate area (don't know what to call it). -Bryan- This post has been edited by 1bwilson: Mar 27, 2003 - 12:32 AM -------------------- Member of Team 5sfTe

valence thats what is *smacks forehead* thanks Chuck you so smart .
Fenders and doors are going to be costly. I would think the velence would be 300+ because of the shape. -Bryan- -------------------- Member of Team 5sfTe

Or like all the parts you would take out and paint if you wanted a fresh look for you inside, have those molded into CF that way it looks tight and it lighter than that plastic crap, or just looks better if not lighter. I'm not a big fan of the CF sticker you can buy everywhere.

I second that! Anything that is heavy to begin with that we could get in CF would rock. Like a VARIS Arsing II front bumper! |

Yea the Varis is uretherane, but i want it CF so i don't have to spend money painting it since my car is already black. Plus how many people could say they have a VARIS kit that's CF!

There was a RX-7 in some racing magazine a while back that had a complete body made out of CF so i would imagine it's somewhat the same.
