My car was in an accident once and the airbag went off. now, my airbag light on my dash won't turn off. well, i dont think it's supposed to be on, at least. i dont know, its weird having that light on. it pulls my attention to it. how do i turn it off?

you need to reset it. Try taking off the neg battery termanil and waiting 10 seconds. If that doesn't work I *think* a toyota dealership has to reset it.

the other solution, pull out the cluster and pull the bulb = no more annoying light.

yea i got into an accident and airbags went off
its supposed to stay on because the sensor (in the front of the car sumwhere) was never replaced and i don't plan on replacing it although that might mean the bags don't come out but oh well
for inspection sake i'm removing that gay bulb

um... isn't there an airbag fuse? pull the fuse and there probably won't be any more problem.

30 min damn thats slow

try like 5 cause he doesn't need to unplug the cluster he can leave it in
and unscrew the mounting bolts turn it alil then take out the bulb
sit it back screw in 4 bolts and he's good i'd say 10 min job

yup, i've replaced the main bulbs on my cluster a couple times. and i've never removed it completely.

that and a safty insp. would notice a missing airbag fuse but not the bulb;)

True... I normaly take out the whole cluster because I like to poke at it tongue.gif
