well i have a leak in my oil pan gasket , and since im going with the 5sfte ima need the 3s pan....but im not ready to put the turbo on, so is there a way to plug the oil pan temporarily . i really dont wanna take that pan off twice

you don't need a 3sgte pan. just put a bulkhead fitting in the pan when you take it off. you can cap off the fitting to when you'll need it. if your goin stainless steel lines. use a -12an bulkhead fitting. and for the feed a -3an line. pm me if you have any more questions since i have ran stainless lines.

you can do it your self go to a performance shop & get that bulkhead fitting. get a TAP&DIE set....

ya the flanges were pretty easy to make. i just traced the gasket. and went at it with the angle grinder. just to let ya know npt tap is as bisnatch to tap out cuz it's tapered. took me a few trys on scrap aluminum.

hey rjb, good job on the flange and lines! i know when you first made the flange it looked crude, but all that matters is that it works! as long as it dont leak, its ALLLLL good !!

hey thanks for the compliment pressure. ya the coolant flanges turned out perfect. but i had a problem with the oil one. being that the an fittings were so huge being a size 12 and all i had to angle to feed line so that it won't collide with the return line allowing me to screw it on. then i jb welded the fitting and she is strong as heck. as long as it works. ya i'll see what i can do i think i have some scrap aluminum left over. it's 1/2" thick. what i suggest to do though is welding the fittings in there but aluminum is pretty hard to weld but i think that would be the most efficient way cuz pipe thread really sux to tap.
