I was thinking of getting ground control coilovers, that way i could lower the rideheight in the summer and put it back up to stock in the winter, do you guys think i should replace my shocks if i get coilovers?

It might be a good idea to search these topics you keep asking about so you dont get flamed. If you get coilovers, youre probably gonna slam it as far as you can, and that will blow youre stock gr2's easily, and maybe even blow them if you get new ones.

I have ground controls on stock struts, I think only one is blown but that is from a prior thing, (I say "I think" because i know its blown but it stilll rides fine) the ride is just fine with stock struts they have not blown due to the hight (to my suprise) but its a good idea to get new ones anyway.

and yes kyb's are nothing more then good OEM replacements.

KYB are OEM replacements as they make them for Toyota.
