 gross weight vs curb weight?, Whats the diff? |

Whats the difference between gross vehicle weight and crub weight? cuz gross weight for our cars is suposely 3348 pounds, but the crub weight is 2389, which seems alot more correct. but i was just curious what the difference is. kinda big gap.

big weight difference, so iunno about it being Gas + avg. ppl weight

Curb weight is the weight of the car on its own.
Gross weight is the wieght of the car with a full tank of petrol and two adults sat inside. |

just for ****s and giggles.. anyone know the weight of a 97 gt convertible? i know the convertible adds alot more weight right?

i heard weigh stations arent too accurate for smaller cars cause they were made to measure huge loads such as semi's.
