Celica Coupe Supra-Style Wing Made To Fit Hatch!?, IT WORKED, PICS POSTED... Options

ok so heres the story, went on ebay, saw a supra style wing, said it was for the 94-99 hatchback celica and said it was an erebuni, more specifically...

THIS IS A BRAND NEW TOYOTA CELICA SPOILER FROM EREBUNI CORP.

well nooooo it wasnt... it was a wings west spoiler for a 94 celica COUPE... well i bought it for $140 shipped and i love the way it looks... so heres whats happenin... my cousin owns an autobody shop, me him and a guy who works with him are gonna shave it a little and give it some fiberglass and we are gonna make it fit my hatchback! wish me luck, i will have pics like tomorrow or saturday to see how the operation went btw does anybody think this will work?

I was thinking about buying it, the pic had a hb in it tho, the guy said it would fit the hb perfect bc its just a replacement. bastard lying to me... lol. anywho get some pics up asap

heres what happens, when you try to put it over the hatch it goes a little too far over the edges, about a half inch on each side of the hatch itself... if you slide it up about an inch or 2 it looks great, fits right to the edge, but doesnt attach that way, it is too flat in comparison to the arch the hatch has... so im grinding the edge and doin a little fiberglass to keep its integrity since its hollow inside, and the grinding away at the base will go close to the screws, plus i wanna make it a perfect fit, i will take some pics of the spoiler before and after its on, and ill have some pics of what ive been doin to my car up by tomorrow...

oh ps, the dude was def lying it has a big wings west logo, and says wings west on the side followed by 94-95 CELICA COUPE SUPRA STYLE W/LED

yes it does have the brake light on it, the led isnt connected (hence the wire) and wont be til it is sanded and painted...

yeah it would, that is the wings west supra style, it looks great with the brake light, i left the brake light at the shop, after i get some stuff done to the front end ill primer and put the brake light on to show you guys what it looks like...

also if anyone was curious, the part with the grey primer about a quarter of the way up the wing, that part was shaved off at the bottom and a little on the inside and then custom made with some fiber glass
