going to go with kyb-gr2 for easy oem fit.

but my feeling is that eibach have the best quality? I don't want a harsh ride since I need this as a daily 45 mile commuter. Any suggestions?

I don't get it. KYB GR2's are struts, not springs. You keep the stock springs if you install KYB struts (that's just the middle part). Unless you're trying to lower your car, don't change the springs. KYB's are a good OEM replacement strut. I've got them and they handle just fine on my 90 mile a day commute... Now if you want to lower it... that's a different issue. TRD springs are probably pretty conservative. Only a 1 to 1.5 inch drop. I'm contemplating those for mine...

oh dude my mistake, I meant kyb's for shock/struts, but I meant for spring quality to lower the ride. Don't want it too stiff since its a daily driver.

Eibach Pro-Kit
great springs, I'm getting them, only a 1 inch drop so they wont wear out your shocks and the ride shouldn't be that much harder

I have the Eibach sportlines, they're awesome. Not too stiff, but definetely can feel the difference in the corners

Its a myth that TRD is only a 1" drop. Trust me.

If you don't want a harsh ride, I would not go pro-kit. They are one of the stiffest springs available but performance would likely be outstanding. If I had to do it over, I would buy prokits because I think my car dropped too far. Probably just get coilovers once my struts wear out...

haha....no lowering springs.....just bag is tongue.gif i wish....i think we all wish. but i was wondering the same thing, what springs are best to lower it for a nice look, but still offer a nice ride for daily commuting.....

I have the sportlines, and replaced my struts with new gr2's, and its a nice size drop, handles a bit better, less body roll, and doesnt ride too rough. But, its easy to scrape on driveways and such if your not careful, and ive even bottomed the car out... i thought i was gonna cry frown.gif

what does everyone here think about h&r sport springs...any comments? I was thinking of getting them but they are a little pricey.
