Buy this! or buy some heavy duty brackets and bolt that bitch down. Otherwise you could make some fiberglass enclosures on each side of your trunk.

ok i was in the same situation as you my sub box would slide a lot and when i would open up the trunk it would be against the back so i got some L shaped brackets and put screws in my sub box and then through the trunk carpet and into the card board that is covering the spare tire. Now the thing never budges but if you need to get the spare out your going to need a screw driver to get the brackets off but how many flats do you get so i dont really worry about that too much. its one remedy that will work and only cost ya a few bucks.

QUOTE(dustin15brown @ Apr 29, 2005 - 8:38 PM) So anything else besides and L-bracket? Something quick incase I need to get to the spare and don't have a screw driver It won't help all the time, but mostly you can just spray some foam into the tire and drive to the nearest gas station or whatever to get the tire fixed. I don't have my spare tire anymore, and have only replaced it with this little can of foam. I don't know the name, but it's something made to fill tires if you ever get a flat one. -------------------- |

I put a luggage bag in the back so the box doesn’t slide around. Works like a charm just got to find one that fits.

if you have the htach back. put the box against the back of the seats. then put a hinge on the back of the box and the other half on the floor. if you need to get you spare tire out, puch the sub BACK so it folds down onto your seat if they were folded down. but yet at the same time if the seats are up they can fold back or move. and they cant slide around. just amke sure the hinge is big enough

Have you considered velcro? i read somewhere that if you apply velcro to the bottom of your box and some to the floor, it should hold it pretty well. for extra hold, you could also have the L-bracket, there is no way the boy will be sliding
