Romas, I have a challenge for your new company that I think would sell well here. How about a new front lip for the 96-99 bumper? I have in mind something that is relatively simple which follows the lines of the car and doesn't hang down too much (e.g. TRD lip for 94-95) but has an angle on the outsides to match up the z-glide skirts (a.k.a 404's). I would pay as much as $300 for something like that and I bet others would as well. How about it?

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

Here is a very "rough" idea of what I have in mind. Obviously, it needs doggy's touch:

Sorta...I am not a fan of the round holes in the z-max lip. I would like to see something that curves with the line of the bumper and yet lines up well / matches the z-max sides. The particulars on the design I leave to those more adept at such things. My vision is something thats a little less agressive and not quite as low. I think the TRD lip is about the right "drop".

Hehe.... as for full lip - shipping would kill totaly if i would try to ship one lip to one guy. The thing i will be working on will be SSIII style custom made spliters that would fit with the aftermarket Sides (they will be lifted higher on fender, to math the lines that flow on all the aftermarket sides). As long as for design, they will be different then SSIII, not too simple but not too overplayed. Will let you know as soon as i will have some more info. And thanks for the chalange biggrin.gif

I never realized that piece was the entire bumper but now I can tell you are right - the headlight housings are different. Am I correct that its not possible to get the TRD bumper anymore?
